This is one of the best futons we have ever found for the money. It's a True 9 inch (marketed as a 10 inch by most retailers) thick futon that will keep you happy for years. When buying a futon and frame, your most important decision should be about the futon itself, because that's where your comfort (or lack there of) really comes from, and not so much the frame. This futon brand is different from most others because it contains two layers of 5 inch thick, high-resiliency Fibre-Foam for long lasting comfort. Unlike the traditional urethane foams used in most futons, Fibre-Foam does not breakdown over time when exposed to light and air. All traditional style futon will compact some, (due to the cotton), but its the Fibre-Foam that helps keep the futon from continuing to compress. In addition to the Fibre-Foam being a far more resilient and longer lasting choice than traditional urethane foams found in most other futons, this foam is very flexible. We know of no other futon this thick that can be used on just about any frame; whether it be on a full-length couch, a lounger, or even an A-Frame.
